I finally made it out of the first trimester! Every day was a roller coaster ride, physically and emotionally. I would throw up after every meal and sometimes just because. But after a handful of meds, it was finally paying off. I could listen to Khloe's heartbeat whenever I wanted and I finally felt like I was in the free and clear. My bleeding had stopped and It was time for my NT scan at my high risk doctor. I was excited to see Khloe actually look like a baby, moving around and wiggling.
The day of my appointment, I drove myself to Sky Ridge Hospital. The wing of the hospital my Obstetrix office was, was near the cancer ward. I just remember being so emotional. Seeing people dealing with death, while I was busy being excited about a new life.
Khloe was so developed. She was moving around, putting her hand in front of her face and curling up. I could see her fingers, her toes, her little nose. She was about 6.5cm long. The smile I had on my face never left. I could have watched her all day long.
