When I was pregnant with Khai, I got a pocket doppler, to ease my fears a bit. I could pull it out and listen to his heartbeat any time I felt like I needed reassurance. After so many losses, I just didn't have much faith, no matter how many weeks passed. I was about 8 weeks when I first heard Khloe's heartbeat on the doppler at home. I was still bleeding and wanted to make sure everything was okay. After minutes of searching for her with the wand pressed against my tummy I finally found it. From that point on, I would listen to it every few days, just to hear it. Just to make sure she was there...and okay. I always loved that I could hear both of our hearts beating simultaneously.
